    Pros

Fabulous place to work. Shayne is an incredibly transparent CEO and willing to make hard decisions. Having watched the organisation change over the past 17 years, I have never seen such a change in culture emerging. It really is starting to feel like an innovative, digital organisation on the verge of something very exciting.

    Cons

There's a lot going on so you can get a bit exhausted at times.

I have been working at Australia and New Zealand Banking full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Inspiring vision to transform and reinvent itself as a more human bank focused on communities and people

    Cons

Changing drastically will have impacts to the way you work and who will be working. Not surprising however given the entire industry is rethinking its focus, service and workforce composition

    Advice to Management

Be careful of moving too fast too soon on strategies that need time to resonate with staff and evolve with passion and understanding

I have been working at Australia and New Zealand Banking full-time

    Pros

    - Good remuneration
    - Great people
    - Very flexible (working from home, can purchase additional leave without pay, generous maternity/paternity leave)
    - Large organisation with lots of opportunities

    Cons

    - Insanely political, with constant restructures. The dust never really settles, and therefore employees never really feel settled.
    - Extremely bureaucratic.
    - Terrible technology and support.

I have been working at Australia and New Zealand Banking (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great work life balance and competitive wages.

    Cons

Very Political in IT. Silo teams, a lack of collaboration between technical support teams. Poor Management and Leadership being driven by India/Singapore & Manila. Lack of recognition for old timers who leave ANZ, no gratitude shown. Jobs are filled offshore without being advertised within the teams. Most are roles being offshored to India and now Manila. A small pool of IT support personnel left in Australia a ratio of 2:10

    Advice to Management

Great to hear that CEO Shane Elliot is to bring AGILE in technology which should take us in the right direction.
