    Pros

    People there is excellent talent within Avaya and most of the time your peers are very supportive Flexibility - could balance time between office and home

    Cons

    Leadership Management is dysfunctional and not effective. Management likes to lead by fear No alignment between groups Whilst Flexible you are micro managed technology old and no investments to modernise it

    I worked at Avaya for more than a year

    Pros

    Awesome and supportive work colleagues. Some interesting technologies. Flexible working arrangements. A good place to learn communications and contact center technologies.

    Cons

    Distinct lack of vision from Headquarters. Headquarters thinks the the world thinks and works like Americans do. Distinct lack of product alignment and evolution. Product Houses can not respond quick enough to genuine customer requests. Not nimble enough for the modern client environment. Expect major redundancies every 18-24 months. No Stability in local or regional senior management it has changed every 18 months. Constant erosion of client base in ANZ. Internal systems are a nightmare to navigate and deal with. Internal politics are ridiculous. A ridiculous number of contact center technologies. Demo environments are a joke. Commision systems are incomprehensible.

    some really good and intelligent people working hard in a team environment.

    Cons

    mangement! they have no understanding of their processes and technology and fail to understand how this affects their business. instead of fixing the process to make business easier, they make it harder by removing head count and piling pressure for immediate results on those left behind. very short term vision.

    Some really good, smart people Mid-market growth props up the company

    Cons

    Matrix organisation in Australia is a joke meaning the MD is nothing more than a sales manager Despite having history of Contact Centre offerings seems to have lost way and doesn't focus on this Sales team turnover has been massive over the last couple of years and more MDs than you can count on one hand
