    Pros

Work life balance, opportunity to learn business, direct interaction with business

    Cons

can quickly get hands-off on technology. No defined process. Neither service oriented nor Captive.

    Advice to Management

Managers moved from service based companies spoiled the culture lately. Most of the Band 5 & above managers want to maintain status-quo as it's like a near to retirement job for them.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook

I worked at BA Continuum India full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The company provided good growth, better work life balance and decent pay package. In 2007 company was in initial growth phase so provided good opportunities.

    Cons

Gradually it became a large organization with multiple hierarchy and bureaucratic process. The workplace became dull and monotonous. Being a captive has the downside that most of the decision making happens at onshore location and local management do not have much say in strategic planning. Also global visibility is low.

    Advice to Management

Hire high caliber talent and focus on shifting high projects to the offshore location rather than merely focusing on cost arbitrage. Follow global career progression and employment policy, it should be seamlessly integrated with global operations.
