    Former Intern - Anonymous Intern

    I worked at BHP

    Pros

Was very well looked after in terms of training, travel, 8/6 roster (relatively good for mining). Great pay for a vacation work student. People were good - easy to work with, like to have a laugh.

    Cons

The mine site was very remote, and the shifts were very long - 12.5 hours. Got sick of the long hours and remoteness.
