Pros
Excellent work hard environment with developmental opportunities, but it will depend more on a persons mobility than anything else. Growth and aspirations can take you to different continental opportunities if you so chose to.
Cons
None really, they live their vision and values. Clearly stated to you when you accept a position and cultivated as you progress.
Advice to Management
Keep the company progressive in its thinking

Pros
Free shavers, pens and lighters.
Cons
Terrible culture, toxic work environment. Like a school yard, you’re either popular or your not. Look elsewhere.
Advice to Management
No advice will help, too far gone.

I have been working at BIC full-time
Pros
Strong brand, valued across retailers and very interesting product portfolio with many innovations.
Cons
Very small organisation, with flat structure and with very few opportunities for career progression. There is almost no flexibility in working hours or working from home and they only give the minimum for maternity/paternal leave.
Advice to Management
Culture of senior management needs to change and start trusting their employees, allowing more flexible working style and less micromanagement.

Pros
Good brand and great employees
Cons
Management does not respect employees and do not respect employees. Wrong portrayal of the reality in the ground to please head office. Employees are victimized for expressing themselves and become targets for dismissal. Management abuse authority through victimization of subordinates. Diversity is not embraced which results in breach of trust between employer and employee. Victimized or targeted for doing your work. No flexi hour. Work out of your scope or job discription is added to your responsibilities without training or discussion with you.
Advice to Management
Trust your employees and embrace diversity. Treat employees with respect and dignity. HR must invest time in engaging with employees to assist in improving the moral of of employees rather than targeting good employees for expressing their concerns.employees are the heart or engine of an organization. Do not encourage bullying and attacking good and loyal employees dignity. Employees need sound leadership that can demonstrate some degree of care for employee.

I have been working at BIC full-time (More than 5 years)
Pros
Work balance ratio, Friendly Environment, Stability
Cons
Politics, Slow moving, More politics
Advice to Management
Do the change..rather do the "change".
Transfer ownership to people that they will do something with it.
Its time to move rather than thinking to move.
Cut some politics.
You pay less when you pay the right people.

I have been working at BIC full-time (More than 3 years)
Pros
Great people to work with. Really ''Top of the class'' colleagues. Private health insurance coverage.
Cons
Very old school mentality and management, curried on through generations who have been in the factory for years.
No perspective for career development or promotion. Structure is very solid and old.
Decisions and processes are suuuuper slow. No risk taken EVER. No wonder they haven't introduced anything new in the market the past 5 years. A company you would clearly call a ''Follower'' and not a ''Leader''.
No restaurant, no coffee shop, no sport facilities in a factory with 1500 people (tennis and basketball court do exist, only in such bad condition that they can't be of use).
Constant changes in business objectives. No clear vision for the future.
Really disappointing that they rest on the bad economy of Greece, to hire such qualified employees with less money(than abroad), no benefits and for the latter to be thankful just because they get payed on time.
Advice to Management
Invest more in people's development. Allow them to have ownership of their work.Let go of all this old hierarchy. Be more agile. Old mentality comes with old habits. If you want to be called a multi-national company, then start acting like one.
