    Pros

Flexible work arrangements Generous annual bonus

    Cons

Reactive leadership increasingly focusing on short term gain at the expense of proactive sustainable long term decisions Reduction in employee benefits Annual restructures driving a horrible work environment Poor culture of driving people into the ground and then rewarding them with retrenchment. Leadership team is scattered and lacking the emotional intelligence to get the best out of people

I worked at BP full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great team and good people, good salary, not so stressful working environment, large number of employees at the refinery, therefore a good number of young people with similar interests.

    Cons

Closure of refinery was hard and left a lot of people naturally feeling sour towards the company. Internally focused, sometimes hiring internally to fill roles rather than looking externally to potentially better qualified people. Selective with support of staff i.e. who gets support for external study, roles changes to new departments etc.

    Pros

Great company, lots of development opportunities to grow into areas od your own interest.

    Cons

Work environment has suffered as a result of the low oil price. Hope the company can still maintain a positive workplace.

I have been working at BP full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great Place to work however depends on team and people who you work with. Overall nice people, good benefits and relaxed work environment.

    Cons

Some leaders are not visionary and cannot bring transformation required for the company. Worst thing is that there is no evaluation upon people in leadership in terms of how effective they are in their vision, engagement with staff and rest.
