I worked at BP full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

good work life balance, employer encourages flexible work life

    Cons

Poor people development, not enough training and development even for new graduates. Management don't seem to care enough about training their people. Low salary for junior/new employees. BP Australia pays much lower than their competitors, could potentially even be the lowest. Employee benefits getting worst for new staff.

I have been working at BP full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    * Good Work life balance * Good salary & benefits (for staff on old contracts)

    Cons

    * Zero job security - restructure every years * Limited career progression & unfair promotions - based on who you know rather than what you know * Old antiquated computer systems, too many workarounds * Dated thinking and ideas. Not innovative in the retail space

    Pros

Work Life Balance Flexible Working Growth & Development Opportunities Collaboration - People are professional, respectful and willing to help Great Manager

    Cons

Can be fairly conservative. Currently a mix of really progressive people & people quite embedded in a particular way of doing things. That said, most people are willing to consider different viewpoints.
