I worked at Bank of America full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Fast-paced environment, good for transitioning careers

    Cons

constantly on your feet. alot of pressure regarding sales. if you are short pennies to 10 dollars they make you feel like a thief ... even though no one in their right mind should think it is okay to steal from a bank. Especially when you have never given management a reason to think you are dishonest. Not to mention jail time or what something like that could do to your future career.

I worked at Bank of America part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Vacation time, health insurance, 401K

    Cons

Exploit tellers, no respect for personal life. I would be texted and called on days off because people at the branch didn't know what to do. They would make you feel bad about being sick or taking time off. Only one teller at a window so not able to use bathroom. Very stressful. Also, being promoted is based on who you know, not your metrics. I was annual top performer interested in relationship banker position, and would get told, I needed to increase my referral numbers, even though I was #1 in the market and exceeded 8% on a regular basis. Just awful culture.
