I have been working at Bond Brand Loyalty full-time

    Pros

Location is in Mississauga and soon-to-be Downtown, On-site cafeteria, 24/7 gym, Company Events and celebrations

    Cons

The organization as a whole is a process disaster for every aspect with cross functional teams, project management and overall how we treat each other. There is a constant fire between client teams and practice teams - blame game everywhere. There is 0 transparency of how decisions are made and there is a clear indication of who are chosen as the "favorite" in the teams; it becomes obvious where the same person is always heard, opinions are overpowered and the same person is always given priority for vacation or special recognition and is constantly showcased at special events. There is a sense of the CEO's personal favourite circle which trickles down to the rest of the leaders who practice the same mannerisms and make these people untouchable. Look at the people who get the promotions or get ownership on the best projects where no one else is consulted; it is typically the same people. There are politics in this building and a lot of questions of how we got the certification of a great place to work because we have so many problems in the way we work together, respect each other and how leaders treat their people with 0 trust or respect; especially when things get tough.

    Bond Brand Loyalty Response

    December 4, 2019

First off, thank you for sharing your feedback. I realize that due to the fast and exciting growth, people are working extraordinarily hard, and that can cause some stress in the system. On occasion in circumstances such as these, people move so fast and don’t always show up as their best self. Know that we are taking action on a lot of the things you mentioned- processes, decision making frameworks, behavioural elements and continuing to seek feedback from employees through various means. If we had the chance to discuss your feedback in person, I would ask you if you have you raised these points with your leader or someone else. Have you participated in coffee chats or in our employee action planning sessions to share your inputs? Have you spoken to your manager around your career interests or heard the many exciting promotions happening across Bond at each and every All Employee Meeting? I definitely agree it’s not just about the engagement survey at all- it’s about participating in our culture and how we all work together to make Bond and even better place to be. On your final point, I couldn’t agree more – “resources” is not inspiring at all – hence why People & Values is our team supporting what other companies may refer to as “HR” matters. As you note you are a current employee, I’d warmly welcome the opportunity to discuss your thoughts further in person – please consider it - my door is always open. – Bob, CEO & President
