    Friendly Staff and opportunities for growth

    Pay is ordinary. Change is slow.

    Advice to Management

    Think outside the Box to be more efficient. Pay your skilled staff appropriately so they stay at Bose.

    Pros

    Very good pay and monthly bonus (If you do well in sales) Great staff discount Easy to sell product (for the most part)

    Cons

    Inability to work autonomously as per upper managements style of doing things. Despite the company fostering a culture of giving feedback, said feedback falls on deaf ears if it conflicts with the agenda of Upper Management. Used to be much better before the "global realignment" Limited progression opportunities Very fast turnover of staff in many stores

    Listen to and act on feedback given to you and practice what you and the policy preaches.

    I have been working at Bose for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Great team to work with. Team building exercises were fun. Rewarding job with access to beta testing of new products.

    Cons

    Entire department was let go without notice. Customer satisfaction has since dropped which reflects poorly on the company. Poor communication from management.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate with your employees. Keeping people in the dark breeds mistrust and employee dissatisfaction. Live up to the essence and values.

    Pros

    Interesting products, interesting history and science behind the product.

    Cons

    Terrible culture, terrible upper level management, terrible place to work. Bullying and backstabbing seems to be common. To structured in delivery of scripting and doesnt allow for people to be genuine. Great product, terrible business.

    Change your approach and actually care about your coworkers.

    Pros

    Decent commissions and comprehensive training.

    Cons

    Feedback for every engagement, products are too expensive (i felt i was ripping customers off) , lack of flexibility, low hourly rate, Bose knows best attitude.

    Advice to Management

    To regional managers: If you want long term employees, you are going to have to change. All the staff members complained about how the company was run; your out of touch.

    Great "face" of organisational culture. Great compensation scheme for RDG Store employees

    Cons

    Horrible Management, lying, sly and untrusting. Unwilling to admit/ take ownership of mistakes.

    Advice to Management

    Sort out your ethics! Horrible ex-pat from the U.S. didn't understand how Aus. organisations work and how Aussies work ethic is extremely different to that of the U.S.
