    Advice to Management

Talented employees and achievers are not scape goats that you sacrifice for the benefit of an unqualified leader, especially when your culture is based on your employees wellbeing and you call them family. Never heard of parents who sacrifice their kids in order to save money, especially rich parents! When your company faces headwinds in various markets, killing a position for the sake of saving a few dollars is not a permanent or a healthy solution, especially when the savings are very minimal compared to other unnecessary expenses. A few pills of pain killers cannot replace a surgery. Deal with the roots of the problem and hold the person in charge accountable for the failures in his visions!

    I worked at Brinker full-time

    Pros

Loved the people, work was interesting.

    Cons

Spent so much time on everything but the food, execution is terrible and the guests know it. They talk a good game about culture but the company is very cliquish.

I have been working at Brinker (More than a year)

    Pros

Hours and tips, friendly atmosphere. Good music and a fast paced environments.

    Cons

The scores from ZIOSK surveys are all that's cared about. Getting a 4 actually hurts your score. Since you have zero control over kitchen, QA, food runner e ct. Seems extremely discriminatory as more than 50 percent of people who full out the surveys are because they are NOT happy. Those that are usually won't take the time. It sucks to have the bathroom be dirty and My survey is all 1. Management's explanations are well all servers have same struggles. Not a conducive way to help keep dedicated loyal hard working employees wanting to bust their butts for minimum wage. Hate the score system, who ever thought it up please go on undercover jobs and come see me. Please.

    Advice to Management

Our management is pretty good finally. I have nothing negative and only positive. My concerns are on a corporate level.

I have been working at Brinker full-time

    Pros

I enjoy some of the people I work with. A lot of them tend to be positive regardless of how bad their day is. I have worked with some amazing managers.

    Cons

Your experience at Chili's will depend on your managers and how they are. I happen to have a general manager who likes to talk down to everyone. Mutual respect goes a long way.
They are very slow in giving raises. They can't just own up and say no, but have to constantly give excuses.
