    Pros

    Few talented people hired in certain departments (Marketing, Procurement, etc.)

    Cons

    The hiring of rejects from other failing companies, such as Sears Afraid to make any changes to help improve the company Hiring under false pretense. Told they needed to improve and change the department and process. Later, not willing to make any changes and resorting to old, administrative process that could be off-shored and done for a fration of the salary. So they resort in lay-offs of the talented people

    They haven’t killed any of their employees (that I know of)

    Cons

    They’re completely clueless. They’re in a no-growth industry. They keep trying get to reinvent themselves and failing. Every year or so brings in a whole new round of execs. Then they want to reorganize, so they lay off a bunch of people. They hire in a whole new group of clueless employees and the cycle continues. Practically nobody in HR has been there more than 2 years. They role out new goals/values every 2 years and nobody pays any attention to them. The culture is horrible.

    Currently, none at this time

    Cons

    Sr Leadership have few skills which they can relate to work and employees. Many of them have checked out completely and are too interested in what they are going to spend their next check on... They pay well, which is a shame because the work brings zero reward. CDK should also be feeling the heat from their competitors who have stepped their game up after they realized the value they could bring.... CDK was the only really in the game several years ago.

    I have been working at CDK Global full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Middle size company. Good for people starting their careers as they can see the business a bit closer than in big corporations.

    Cons

    Very poor middle management. My team leader has no communication and organisation skills. Such person would not pass probation period in another company. Very unfair compensation system. Employees with lower salaries don't get annual bonus while those who earn sometimes just a bit more get the bonus.
