Pros

Exciting opportunities to try new technologies. Great coworkers, benefits, and flexible schedules.

Cons

New owners drastically changed business goals, hired lots of new employees last year, then began laying off more experienced ones in advance of executive bonuses. Many other talented staff members have left since. Management sets uninformed and unrealistic expectations for performance while reducing resources. The company also wastes a lot of time with too many all-hands and professional development meetings that are unrelated to specific positions (I counted 8 hours total for one week).
