I worked at Camp Australia full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Professional development opportunities depending on the department

    Cons

Company is lacking direction with executive management seeming to have conflicting views. No career progression Hugh churn of staff Lack of communication from management Low salary No processes Inconsistent Poor Company culture Head office out of touch with coordinators and assistants

    Advice to Management

pay more attention to what staff and customers are saying rather than having 'market leading software' to better your business and boost customer relations and staff engagement

I worked at Camp Australia full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

None - worst company ever. Will loose all tenders and be out of business soon enough (24 to 36 months). No care for children's safety. No resources for the children. No qualified staff. Unbelievable that they are allowed to continue to operate. (Banned from tendering new business in NSW - Vic next!)

    Cons

All the above - worst moral compass ever.

    Advice to Management

Start again or give up - for the safety and well-being of the children.

I have been working at Camp Australia part-time

    Pros

There are no pros about working for this company

    Cons

    - under qualified and inexperienced staff - 2 hours of work a day - underappreciated with no support - shifts being cancelled at the last minute - staffing expecting CASUAL employees to call in sick 24 hours in advance

    Advice to Management

Learn to appreciate floor staff instead of cutting back all of their shifts, they need to make money to live too.

I have been working at Camp Australia full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I cannot think of a single thing.

    Cons

their 'rules' are impossible. Unless their staff do not go to the toilet at all during the whole shift. They under-supply activities and under-pay staff. especially considering the WHOPPING charges they charge their customers. All i get from customers is complaints about them, about how much they charge and about their extra charges for overdue [even by a couple of hours after 5pm on due date] customers get a $20...

    Advice to Management

look past those dollar signs in your eyes and see what the hell you're doing to your customers. yes you have them by the short and curlies because working parents have no other option but to use whichever OSHC the school has booked in. But that doesnt mean you should take advantage of them.
