      Pros

Company is always trying to improve, great help from team leads and co-workers

      Cons

There is so much information that it is hard to take it all in. Things are always changing, new team leads, new platforms, by the time you start learning one thing they decide to change it up and 'improve' it. Pay could be better for new realtors.

      Better opportunities with other brokers

      Pros

This was a small locally owned office, and if you are willing to work extremely hard, you will make it. The office was centrally located and easy to find for those buyers who are new to the area. Management is very approachable and is very helpful to new agents just getting started. Some of the older agents are very welcoming and will help out new agents with advice from getting started to running a successful business. Corporate has all the tools an agent will need online, and the online classes are easy and convenient, where you can network with other agents from around the country.

      Cons

Hard to break into the "good ole boys club"; older more experienced agents are coddled and given more opportunities by management, at least this was my experience with the broker I worked for. Even thought this is a a national real estate brokerage chain, the views of the national company are not always shared by the local independently owned brokerage firm. In our office, our managing broker was very thrifty and wouldn't spring for new technology, charged an exoritant fee for monthly dues, there was very little office administrative support to the individual realtor, and sometimes we wait for a couple of hours for our turn to sit at the one computer linked to the color laser printer.

      managing broker

      Pros

Sharp upbeat group of owners, managers and agents. Nice work atmosphere features friendly feel in the office rarely found in companies of this size, first class tech tools, continuous ongoing training (but not shoved down your throat), learning opportunities and tools that work well for both new agents and top tier veterans or those wishing to take their business to the next level.

      Cons

health care expenses and day to day business expenses of being a realtor add up quickly (even quicker if you are in a management capacity). Opportunity to succeed is there, but if times become lean stress level can rapidly increase.

Great place to work, the training program is top notch and has millions of dollars backing it.

      Pros

They are the number one recognized realty company out there so, to me....guilty by association. The leadership is amazing as well as they are always giving free classes to improve yourself.

      Cons

No cons that I can think of. Realtor's are the true con in this instance, not the company. Prepare to be cut down the back for commission. I think I read somewhere that most realtors are only in real estate for an average of 3 years. I completely understand why now.

      Pros

They help give you the tools to succeed.

      Cons

Being a realtor takes a lot of time and work and doesn’t always pay off. Definitely need a nest egg to be successful. There are a lot of annual fees and that makes it difficult when no deals close for you. It takes time to grow your business, as that what it ultimately is.
