I worked at Chandler Macleod full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

some of the employees are nice.

    Cons

Toxic culture rife with bullying and favouritism. Bad CEO, setting a terrible example. An executive leader was supported in systematically bullying and illegally monitoring team members with no ramifications.

I worked at Chandler Macleod full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Colleagues, modern office environment, reasonable wage and conditions

    Cons

Since Japanese acquisition and new Executive (post 2018) people no longer matter and it’s become profit at any and all costs

I worked at Chandler Macleod full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Remuneration, Work/Life Balance (well it used to be), Team Members (at branch level)

    Cons

Japanese parent ownership has turned the organisation into nothing more than a profit hungry bohemoth. The company has lost sight of its purpose and the most common expression used around the water cooler in the year or two prior to my departure was “profit at all costs”.

Knee jerk decisions rather than broad strategic planning They don’t do enough to retain top talent Leaders do not inspire loyalty

I worked at Chandler Macleod full-time for more than a year

    Pros

None that I can think of

    Cons

Recruitments a high turn over industry, but none more so than Chandler. It felt like every day someone else were leaving. Staff moral is low and so is base wage and comms. Very little support or guidance from management and certainly no strategic vision. If your thinking of joining Chandler, dont. Its not even a good environment for first time experience as there is no one to train and mentor you. Lots of dissatisfaction with the management team, who seem at a loss of how to attract and retain talent with-in the business. Anyone who demonstrates talent, quickly gets snapped up by other agencies and leaves as theres not enough to keep them at Chandler. Very frustrating experience.

I have been working at Chandler Macleod full-time for less than a year

I worked at Chandler Macleod full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Team Environment was good - we worked hard to ensure that as a team we were having fun and good days even through the struggles

    Cons

Management - management didn't really care about how the individuals were. Recruiters get burnt out in 2 years and they think its ok and gets a mind set that the recruiters couldn't hack it and not worth keeping anyways
