I have been working at Chevron full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Roster and remuneration is OK. New plant, accommodation OK but is isolated. Weather is good but very hot for a few months of the year.

    Cons

Dealing with intractable fools who run the place and can't make decisions. Lot of in-competency. If you good at giving head you will get ahead in this place but if you have any real talent and want to use it find somewhere else to work.

I have been working at Chevron full-time for more than 10 years

American company that works internationally. Opportunities for growth are limited for those who are not from US or are not willing to work in US.

I have been working at Chevron full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good FIFO roster, camp life ok, great group of experienced people in my team. Should be the greatest job in the world but for its poor leadership and management

    Cons

Horrible culture on site, due to severe lack of experience in management/leadership positions. Run by politics and people pushing there own agendas.

Current Employee - IM Team Lead in Perth, Western Australia

I have been working at Chevron full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good benefits and a multinational company with lots of opportunities. There are lots of good people to work with. The projects are exciting, large scale, industry best resource projects.

    Cons

Can be old fashioned, slow moving, hierarchical and bureaucratic, the company is not cutting edge or fast paced. Making change is very slow.
