I have been working at Citi full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The Technology Analyst program at Citi allows recent grads to have a decent variety of experiences within Citi in software. Citi has nice culture, people are generally very agreeable. If you get placed on the right team, you can get great experience.

    Cons

There are also a decent amount of teams that are not great to be placed on, it is difficult to control how this happens, so experiences can be hit or miss. (I personally know some who would not give the Technology Analyst Program at Citi this rating)

    Advice to Management

Try to get teams involved in the analyst program who will use the analyst as much as possible, some teams trundle analysts to the side which cause them to have poor experiences.

I worked at Citi as an intern

    Pros

Great atmosphere, everyone's willing to help each other, and projects are manageable.

    Cons

Close to release times everyone's extremely busy and it's much more difficult to get information or a new task.

I worked at Citi as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Global company with a lot of opportunities.
    Pleasant people.
    Good compensation.

    Cons

The technology division is very underdeveloped and poor.
Technology is treated as a cost center despite so few developers.
On-boarding process was an absolute nightmare.
I got to witness how high their technology staff turnover is. All of their graduates are leaving. A true testament to how good management and HR is at their jobs.
Technical skills are not valued - networking and brown nosing is.

I have been working at Citi (More than a year)

    Pros

Ok training but not always relevant. Good leave package.

    Cons

Unrealistic expectations over staff capacity-seen as a 'resource', lack of transparency over promotions, ridiculously confusing performance appraisal process which leads to this opaqueness over pay/promotions.

    Advice to Management

Give people relevant goals and don't allow culture of bullying.
