I worked at Coles full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great culture among people of the same/similar level (between team members, supervisors and department managers) Decent pay for people like myself whom haven't completed a bachelor degree Flexible working options (casual, part time, full time.. mornings, afternoons, evenings.. 3-9 hour shifts..)

    Cons

In order to move up you need to put in extra unpaid hours of work - paid training is hard to come by

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Coles part-time for more than a year

    Pros

It was open during COVID-19 time so I was grateful to get to work.

    Cons

    - You have to work in one position for long hours without breaks coz they won't roster as many supervisors as needed. -Poor management, always short of staff - harrassed by customers most of the time. And can't really do anything about it. At least Woolworths has put on some measures to protect their employees. But in Coles there is nothing. They don't care about you. You are just a person (like a machine) who works there.
