I have been working at Commonwealth Bank of Australia full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Leave benefits relating to Parental and Life leave. 8.30-5pm without further commitments (Most of the time) You can keep doing something till you retire and no one is going to ask you anything,

    Cons

Apart from Micro managing u may have to do Unreasonable overtime without notice and getting asked not to input extra time, No work life balance, Favourism and politics, They can move you around different branches as they please, your current manager unlikely to give a positive reference if u apply for other jobs. Only suggest working here if u have no other choice because once u join u will get sucked in for the rest of your life.

I have been working at Commonwealth Bank of Australia full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

One of the strongest brands in the country, let alone in the finance industry. Great people. Abundant opportunities for those who wish to push themselves and develop their careers. Strong leadership from the top down with a focus on doing what is right.

    Cons

Staffing levels are not sufficient to cover leave and vacancies without putting pressure on the remainder of the workforce. Some challenges with developing and retaining talent to ensure that we have continuity in terms of staffing and service proposition into the future, however I do acknowledge that senior leadership are aware and seem to be taking some steps to address this issue.
