Pros

I wish there where pros, but in all my life i have never experienced such horrid treatment by a incompetent boss in my entire life.... I feel if he has stuck to his degree in hotel management he would have a slightly better chance of making it out of the trenches of the start up work life.... but at last he is stuck making a trash sketchy product called market trix.

Cons

Well onto the bad stuff not only was i criminally underpaid based on my 4 years of industry experience. Not only was I payed minimum wage while i struggled to get by they also overworked to the point of borderline starvation in which led to my cptsd diogise by health professionals in which out health insurance did not cover. THATS not even the worse of it my trauma was further exacerbated by MARKETTRIX not only could he not pay the department to the point where he just up and fired all the of the useful people while keeping the trash that licked his boots to apease for there meager salary he also couldn't keep a slid foundation on the on wtf markettrix was.... The website is sketchy the people offering services are no longer apart of the company all of there qualifications if you can call them that are false . The ai doesn't match what's on the landing page there linked ins for the the people you can "hire" go back to the main page there resumes are not available. The guy is running out of money to the point in which he has to borrow it for shady sources ....... If you catch my drift.. He also abused my fellow coworkers on a daily basis never listened to any of there ideas and whent with own "fantastical" ideas which led his company to bankruptcy......... Lets go in greater website detail the AI dosnt work.. The people whom you are paying are crimalny underqualified and overpayed based on what they display PHD students dont get payed that much yet most of them have degrees. Lets say what are saying is true THEY DONT WORK THERE why are they still displayed on the site?? There ai is terrifying there landing page is horribly formatted . there links go nowhere and everything is chat gpted..

Pros

Back when Creativehub was thriving, it was a fantastic place to work. The environment really fostered growth and learning, whether you were fresh out of uni or a seasoned pro. It offered a platform to push your skills to the limit and develop new ones. Despite average pay, the global clientele provided ample opportunities to work on exciting projects. The team (back in the day) was more like a family, creating enduring bonds and producing remarkable work together. We often reminisce about the good times and the impactful projects we delivered.

Cons

Unfortunately, Creativehub has seen a drastic decline in recent times, especially in 2024. The company suffered significant losses due to poor business decisions and financial mismanagement. What's worse than the decline itself is how it was handled. Starting the year with over 55 employees, by mid-2024, the team had dwindled to just 8. The neglect began when the founder relocated to the US, leaving the Sri Lankan operations in disarray and morale plummeting among the team there. Another critical misstep was the CEO appointing his wife (a former micro-biologist), to head HR, finance, and operations. While skills can be learned on the job and one's qualifications are secondary as is the startup norm, her more than undesirable attitude and massive ego issue left the functions she was in charge of in a very bad place. She consistently neglected basic responsibilities, citing her lack of HR background, even after months on the job. Team leads in the end had to step up to cover for her shortcomings, throwing in the extra hours to take up, handling recruitment and finances due to her inefficiency. What's more, invoices were not shared on time, hence payments were delayed, client relationships suffered, and basic employee needs were neglected, turning the workplace into what felt like a sweatshop. The layoffs were perhaps the most ghastly act. Nearly 20 dedicated team members were let go with just a 30-day notice, and left wondering about their future, some after years of loyal service. There was no compensation, which is legally required in such situations. Instead, the CEO requested permanent staff to resign voluntarily, masking the company's responsibility for the downturn. Creativehub's decline reflects severe leadership failures, miscalculated and rushed decision-making, neglect of operational basics, and a disregard for employee welfare, tarnishing its once-strong reputation as a hub of innovation and collaboration.

Pros

As a small company which calls itself a startup (it is not) you'll be exposed to a lot of fields and there's a lot of self learning to be done. You'll also learn how not to start a company and run a company. The people here are mostly youngsters so there's a good support structure within the organisation for learning and career advice which is to leave the company.

Cons

The heads who run the business have no domain expertise, their backgrounds and education might surprise you. And also it's a place where cheap labour is at it's peak, you'll always see posts for internship positions and 50% of the workforce are just bare interns. The pressure you'll be facing as an intern will push you to the verge of collapse. Improvements and feedbacks at meetings are taken as criticism. Adamant boss who doesn't know anything on IT and product development. Has a bunch of useless products in its portfolio with 0 clients and those products are the reason for the downfall of the company. Ran a dev team like a marketing team. Literally a red flag of a company if you are an SE or SSE.
