    Pros

Remuneration, prestige, and budget for projects.

    Cons

Red tape not irregular in bulge bracket banks; no proper hand over from previous stakeholders; politics among directors; no clear direction yet without the autonomy provided in more enterprising organisations.

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Credit Suisse full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Nice people I was working with, got to know a lot of people due to different Projects and a Variety of responsibilities

    Cons

Moved offices three times, was assigned to Projects just because there was man power needed (not due to skills or Knowledge), success or achievements are not recognized or personally rewarded.

    Positive Outlook
    No Opinion of CEO

I worked at Credit Suisse full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Interesting projects and responsibility from start to finish - Good Networking incl. clubs - eLearning and various useful educational events

    Cons

    - Many, many re-organizations during this time of strategic change and cost-saving at the bank - Timelines and deadlines are often crazily short and not enough staff - therefore often high pressure, long hours and juggling of projects - Despite much talk about diversity, Switzerland still very hierarchical and not always easy for women to progress

    Advice to Management

    - Don‘t look away when cases of mobbing/bullying are reported - this is a serious issue

    I worked at Credit Suisse

    Pros

Clean, safe, there is a lot of space at the present, home working is possible if you are lucky enough to have a well organised manager.

    Cons

Hot desking (officially no one has their own desk and there is an inadequate cleaning service, so you may grab the last free desk with someones nose-pickings from the day before. Senior people claim and hold desks, in spite of policy) Highly political. If you do not see this then you are very junior. A profession starter gets Associate Director, Director and these are the bottom of a big hierarchy. Title is... closely associated so it is a big issue.

    Advice to Management

Give up hot desking, keep clean desk policy and be honest.

  8. "A good organisation that could be great"

    StarStarStarStarStar
Former Contractor - Project Manager in London, England
    Neutral Outlook
    No Opinion of CEO

I worked at Credit Suisse for more than a year

    Pros

A lot of really good people to work with in the business; Competitive rates

    Cons

The bureaucracy and lack of ownership with some areas; some really bad senior managers that knew how to manage upwards but didn't have a clue how to manage downwards.

    Advice to Management

Senior managers should seek input from their reports staff and once received should actually do something rather than sit on it.
