      Pros

      I started there when they were P&O Ports. It was a good company to be with, played well, you worked hard and had a sense of satisfaction at the end of your shift. When it became DP World the place slowly went downhill. Its now a workplace of last resort.

      Cons

      Bad management (a succession of them), bad planning and blaming staff for their incompentance. Terrible plant and equipment (again blame the staff). No incentive to achieve, a true 'us and them' mentality. Shocking HR, who enjoy making life hard for the workers. All in all a style of utter anal retention.

      Pros

      You get to go home at the end of the day. That's the highlight, apart from that its little hard to find anything good to say about this place. And I got to resign and get a position that was with a decent company.

      Cons

      A company that seems to encourage bad and even bullying behaviour. Like an ostrich over health and safety. Management obviously got a PhD from the school of 'us and them'. Senior management should spent time doing their jobs instead of promoting themselves as gods gift to mankind.

      Pay can be good if you're willing to not have a life outside of dp world

      Cons

      Treated poorly. Holidays? Yeah right. Safety... what's that. Honestly, not worth the money. Go do anything else!
