    I worked at Daniels Health full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    -there are some great people below management level - Interesting product and service offering with a lot of potential - Great coffee

    Cons

    -No autonomy (left on your own with no ability to get things done) -no training or support -spending money is a nightmare -management is happy to spend money on management summits etc. but dont give staff resources to do their job or pay for training -The various regions all operate independantly with little standardization. -communication is limited to corporate propogander, they want to appear to be leading edge and progressive without actually doing anything leading edge Poor Management -no manager will ever sign off on scope or take responsibility for task completion -ignore compliance/safety concerns in plants or wont fund fixes proposed by PMs -management treated better than staff and are never in the office -The ceo makes personal comments to people about appearance, relationships and other things which are inappropriate for the workplace -will change and add responsibilities without adjusting compensation or in the case of projects they will constantly change scope without considering resources or timelines -hire people with inadequate qualifications because they are family or friends of family

    We thank you for being so honest, you were very clearly hurt by your experience working with Daniels and have some very personal grievances with the management team; we would really love to understand more. There are some points you have raised which we would agree hand-on-heart we're not good at and we need to improve, but others that appear to be very misaligned to our company practices, and our commitment to our people and their future growth. You have raised concerns about compliance that we take very seriously, and we would appreciate if you could provide further information confirming the same so we can action accordingly. We wish you all the best in your future role and hope that you are able to feel more supported than you felt working for Daniels Health; we are truly sorry that your 5+ years of employment with us is recalled in such a negative light.

    Great people and location, good place to gain experience and try out new things, good mission

    Cons

    No structure, no solid management, still growing so things change all the time. If you need guidance or structure, might not be the best place for you.

We agree that our team is wonderful and we will continue to focus on cultivating a work environment that empowers our people to learn, develop and grow in their careers. We are in a phase of significant growth which does sometimes bring with it a lack of defined structure, but as a leadership team we are working hard to fill our talent gaps and set clear direction for our business as we navigate this growth period. Whilst we hope that the lack of guidance you speak of was an isolated experience, we are also cognizant that as an organization we are entrepreneurial and very empowering of new ideas; two attributes which can sometimes lead to a more fluid and changing environment. We see this as a very positive thing for our business because it allows us to move swiftly and strategically in response to market opportunities or pressures, but we understand that it's not always everyone's cup of tea. We really appreciate your perspective, thank you again for taking the time to review your experience working with us.

    Very hard industry to get ahead in. Wasn't stable when I worked there.

    Pros

    Some great people throughout the organization who really want to do a good job and help the company do well.

    Cons

    Lots of politics and a lack of vision from senior leadership resulting in poor overall performance. Lip service to a mission and values, but actions speak louder than words. Benefits were poor and no 401K match. Heard that most employees are not eligible for bonuses.

    We are sorry to be addressing your feedback so long after your departure. We are genuinely sorry that we didn't have everything figured out whilst you were with us, but based on the value feedback provided by staff such as yourself, we have worked very hard to ensure that the "Daniels work experience" is great improved at all levels of our organization. We introduced a 401K match several years ago, together with an improved benefits program, and more streamlined performance review and bonus assessments. It is a disappointment to us that this couldn't be resolved during your time with us; staff, capacity and rapid growth was a genuine challenge that we struggled to keep up with. We do sincerely believe in excellence and best-in-class and will continue to strive to provide the best opportunities for our employees and customers.

    Flexibility, Meet great people in the medical industry, make your own schedule

    Cons

    Horrible Management, No Communication from corporate to the field, management talks behind employees backs, unaccountability, worthless healthcare benefits, unrealistic sales quotas, no training or help
