I have been working at Danone North America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great Benefits. 6 Month Maternity Leave. 4 weeks for fathers. Good work life balance. Wonderful upper management. Lots of opportunity for advancement.

    Cons

Middle management not up to speed with changing society/ work life balance. Policies in place that are great for salaried exempt employees but aren't applicable to salaried non exempt even though they should apply to them, for example the Flex Time Off benefit. There is no cap on time off.

I have been working at Danone North America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Fast paced, engaging, and automated manufacturing environment with a lot of low hanging fruit. Pay and benefits are more than most with many opportunities to transition into cross-functional roles. Safety and Quality are held in high regard.

    Cons

Overall: The company's focus is shortsighted by production output instead of long-term reliability. The hours and time away from family required to successfully execute and sustain manufacturing projects does not justify the compensation (even though, on paper, it's better than most). Co-Workers: Most everyone is socially engaged and fun to interact with, but there's a wide range of professional performance. Acquisition...

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring "B" and "C" quality employees, continue to develop your high potential/performers through professional development and technical training. Although the underperformed should stand out, consider anonymous peer reviews to fully understand the opportunities.
