    Pay is very competitive here PTO is more generous that anywhere else Benefit package is really good Work-Life Balance is promoted here Culture - they strive to promote a healthy culture

    I have only been here a short time but in this time i have found this company to be one of the best places i have ever worked at. They truly care for their employees and it shows. I have always stressed about finding Work/Life balance but was immediately reassured that i would not deal with that here and its true.     Dealertrack DMS was a good company before COX Aquire us.But now its just a Micro management hell. Lot of people to manage hand full of employee.

    Even though you are working in IT industry for decade and deliver value here you will find Manager ,QA Manager, Director, Scrum Master, RTE, Production Architect just to keep unnecessary pressure on 3 dev and 2 QA where as all the reporting is online. But they don't have any thing to do they have to justify high pay by unnecessary meeting. Creating rift between team and they pretend they are resolving it. Basically it's...

    flexible PTO, GYM on site with cafe, yearly bonus.

    Cons

    no more work from home. work/life balance can be difficult, constant management eyes on you and listening to all your conversations.. no trust..

    Advice to Management

    understand ex-cons need a second chance in life but it is unfortunate when you hire one as a leader whom shows no interest in being a better person and shows no humility. hire managers who can motivate employees through positivity (someone whom you can look up too and leads by example) not cut throat negativity...

    - Good people in general - Good coffee selection - Good kitchen

    Cons

    - People leaving company rapidly - Everybody so busy and nobody cares - Outdated software - Too much time spent on maintenance and existing clients vs. face-lifting their product and getting new business - To get help or knowledge transfer almost impossible

    Invest more in people, ask them what they need instead of telling them what to do.

    Pros

    Incredible pay and benefits, and overall great people. There are a few bad apples that unfortunately stick around while they shouldn't.

    Cons

    Teams do not interact. Very heads down to get your job done while not understanding the entire business.

    Advice to Management

    Relatives and spouses working together is unethical - this practice needs to be done away with. Also, check in on your employees to see how they are doing.

    I have been working at Dealertrack full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    People I work with. My direct manager is the best. Good vacation and RRSP plans.

    Cons

    People are demotivated and as a result smart effective employees are leaving and sadly senior management/director seem not to care and believe people are disposable and replaceable. There is no effective evaluation system in place and your good work is never recognized. New changes in the company's overall structure seems like a chaos and the purpose/direction of it is unclear to employees. Pay is far below the market.

    Advice to Management

    Value your employees and motivate them. A company is as good as it's employees.
