I have been working at Dealertrack full-time for less than a year

    Pros

None really I would think that the benefits would be good.

    Cons

    1. Micromanagement 2. Micromanagement 3 Oh I forgot Micromanagement Management sucks big time. Can't get the escalation fixed quick. There is a reason it's being escalated and not to let it sit for months to fix (if it's fixed). Supervisor doesn't want to take calls if requested since they have no knowledge. All they care about is "Have you deescalated the issue? Lastly training sucks. Outdated information is being thrown out there so once you are on the phones and if client ask you, you are just head scratching or giving them wrong information.

I worked at Dealertrack full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The pay and benefits were truly awesome. The training was very long but definitely needed to make anyone ready to be on the phones. There's always something new to learn and challenges throughout every day

    Cons

I've personally witnessed many counts of bullying, reported it and was told to mind my own business and not get involved. Manager was not professional at all with this and the every day sarcastic comments. I also had a few friends who were hired who experienced the harassment for no reason other than their sexuality. Same response from management when I showed my concern for their safety and the environment of the company

Thank you for leaving a review. I'm glad you enjoyed the company benefits and for the opportunity you had to learn while working at Dealertrack. Also, I want to thank you for leaving your feedback. I am very concerned about the harassment your friends experienced. I will talk with our team about taking complaints and harassment more seriously as you suggested. All the best, Paul Whitworth SVP for DMS and Fixed Ops at Cox Automotive

I have been working at Dealertrack

    Pros

Desirable compensation/benefit package. Great people to work with, from management all the way down. Managment is very fair and I feel that I have been treated at all times with dignity and respect. The Job is pretty easy and I can usually get assistance when I need it. MOST people are above blaming others and actually act like adults in the workplace. Fairly flexible when it comes to scheduling time off, etc.

    Cons

Tech support is a stressful job, and the fact that the products are constantly having issues doesn't help much. Training was far from helpful and left me without a significant edge to perform (although they are working on this). Little, if any chance to advance within the company at this time. Products that constantly have problems make unhappy customers!
