I have been working at Dell full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is a company which genuinely believes in looking after its staff.
The Management is good and thoughtful. They are concerned about health of staff and take steps to ensure well being.
The employee job satisfaction is monitored via surveys, and considered very important.
The teams are good and supportive.
The Company allows flexible working hours and working from home. This results in real work life balance.
The Company aim is to make the world a better place, and they work towards that, for example, no single-use plastic water bottles at Dell events, recycled packaging increases.
    Community work is encouraged.
Pleasantly surprised when company donated 25$ to a charity of my choice within 1 month of joining.

    Cons

None to think of at this point

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up

I have been working at Dell full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great Company, Strong Leadership, world class products and a strategy that resonates with the market.

    Cons

Lots of overlay in roles and overlap in products. Company is very metric driven and micro management of those metrics.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on the value that our organisation can deliver to our customers and partners, and less on internal reporting metrics that subtract from our effectiveness in the market.
