Pros
- A history in visual effects worth being proud of. - Compensation is roughly in line with the standard.
Cons
- Backstabbing, political environment. - Carrots waved in front of employees with no intention of following through. - Ancient, frustrating pipeline. - There seems to be a gung-ho attitude by senior staff members that we can burn through newer contract workers by brute forcing everything as opposed to careful planning and organizing your core business efficiently. - No interest in advancing the pipeline towards modern, efficient ways of working which is costing them work and turning away the most top level talent.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Digital Domain full-time for more than a year
Pros
Interesting and exciting tech with potential: VR, MR, AR, etc.
Cons
A mess of a company. Severe lack of leadership and direction that is reflected in the code base and the product. A mentality of reinventing the wheel and the grass is always greener, especial if the grass is some shiny new technology. Projects are littered with a zoo of frameworks, new ones incompletely replacing old ones, so you are left with a patch work quilt that is brittle and not able to be maintained. Toxic culture of mistrust because of multiple layoffs, bonus programs that are announced but never come, and performance reviews that are promised but are always "next year".

Cons
One of the building is pretty dark and it was depressing not to have light the whole day.
