Pros

Salary and benefits were competitive

Cons

An absolute stain on Ottawa and the GTA. Any and all decisions that may come off as altruistic are veiled behind some sort of other motive. If you think that they care about the environment, come by the office in the winter and see the CEO’s Range Rover idling for hours in the one and only handicapped parking space (the man is perfectly able bodied). The sexist, racist and toxic work culture would not be appropriate in the 70s. I should have run on the first day when I was warned that the CEO is “going to say some misogynistic and racist things to you, try to look the other way.”

Pros

The free coffee at all locations

Cons

To many to name, but here are the main ones: - Management: Very toxic and greedy. Only care about making money. Does not want to hear feedback. Very old school, there way or the highway. - Unrealistic quotas: Quotas are set so high to reach your bonus they are unattainable. Encourages employees on a low enough salary already to work overtime (for free) to hit quotas - Short staffed: Because they short staff to save money, employees are forced to work multiple roles, but only get paid for one. - Growth: There is absolutely ZERO growth in this company. They will promise you the world, that if you work hard you will grow, but employees who've been there 10+ years have only received a $1,000 raise- IMPOSSIBLE to keep up with inflation. It's a toxic cycle where you come in and get promised the world, work extremely hard for 1 year, and that's when reality sets in you're not getting promoted or a raise.
