I have been working at EY-Parthenon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fantastic partners - experienced leaders who genuinely care about mentorship and helping you grow as a consultant
Superb projects - only high calibre strategy work
Unparalleled growth opportunities - being part of a young office means you get the chance to step-up and grow much quicker than in other more established organisations

    Cons

Workload - typical of consulting and tends to trend upwards of 12-14 hours per day
Remuneration - significantly lower than MBB
Young team - difficulty delivering projects given that the team is relatively young

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work in maintaining a distinctive culture but focus on improving remuneration. Otherwise there will be issues around retention once people start looking for other higher paying opportunities.

I have been working at EY-Parthenon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - People are very interested in your learning and development; as a consultant, you are the product, so expect investment into your growth
    - People are actually nice and caring, as advertised.. a lot of commitment to building culture, especially in smaller offices

    Cons

    - Work hours are long, expect burnout over time
    - In many situations you will be a case-taker, not a case-chooser, and will be subject to the most common industries represented by your office

    Advice to Management

Do not burn out your best people, just because this is known to be a high turnover industry does not mean you should take this for granted.

    I worked at EY-Parthenon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Parthenon was an amazing place where staff and consultants enjoyed great benefits, team-focused collaboration, and mutual respect.

    Cons

Parthenon-EY was not a mutually amicable relationship. EY's multi-level management structure made progress and career advancement difficult and painful.

    Advice to Management

Too late to divest in the toxic EY culture. Just don't be EY. They care less about their people and will outsource entire teams to save money.
