I worked at Eli Lilly and Company

    Pros

There are still some kind, intelligent individuals who work at Lilly.

    Cons

The culture is toxic, there is no honesty, trust or transparency. Mediocrity is rewarded and even though people are asked to speak up the lead team do not want to hear it. Diversity and inclusion is talked about but rarely acted upon and 'the boys club' seems to get worse rather than better. Salaries are also lower than the industry standard. When people leave they no longer get an exit interview because they just do not want to know. Lilly ANZ was once a good place to work but over the last few years it has been sad to watch how far it can fall. The people who cared so much about the success of the business have left one after the other as bad decisions keep being made by those at the top.

I worked at Eli Lilly and Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Some office staff are super nice.

    Cons

Micromanagement was damaging to morale. Company lied about job description. Senior management kept making destructive decisions and then blaming staff below them when consequences materialized. "Speak up" culture was a lie - staff members experienced retaliation for raising concerns. Below market compensation and few benefits. Office culture was tense.
