Pros

No thing good in this company

Cons

You should think very seriously about accepted an offer to work here. Just a few issues include: very low moral across most of the company. -No room for growth and no career Path, borderline unethical HR practices, and poor management/leadership. Do not allow the sunny disposition of your interviewers fool you. -I ignored the concerns raised by other employees on Glassdoor and most, if not all, turned out to be true. They always think that who write any review must be one who left the company, would encourage anyone considering employment at AHCC to read all reviews and try to speak to someone on the inside before joining. -I thought I’d give myself a year in this company but I’m getting out of this slowly sinking ship as soon as I can. -The culture is even worse. The company pretends to be building a better environment, but have an open door policy on swearing and fraternization. Most of upper management is in a relationship with one another! The managers are very back stabbing and everyone hates their job (with good reason) so there is constant complaining every day. Very depressing - The teams are mismanaged and top management has people with little to no experience who should not be in management positions -They have PM always hurt some employees by words and insult them in front of everyone

Pros

Very diverse staff. Small company meant more opportunities to work with various types of systems. They were good about dealing with work-life balance in general (for me anyway), *if* and *when* a given project wasn't in crisis mode.

Cons

Most projects seemed to always be in crisis mode; more often than not there was some kind of emergency. At times we worked 70 hour weeks (and we were salaried, so no overtime). One office would follow best practices, e.g. version control and standard operating procedures, while the other office didn't seem to follow them at all, and it could be a nightmare trying to get the various pieces to work. I had high hopes for the organization, but in hindsight I should've gotten out of there a lot sooner than I did.

Thank you for your honest review. Since moving our development headquarters to Cairo, we have expanded our talent to assure our projects are always on time and budget. We have also instituted a complete program on version control, quality control, and standard operating procedures and have a full team assuring quality control.
