Pros
- you will use latest software technologies - very nice colleagues from all around the world - good office location with lots of restaurants around - personal development budget - helpful HR department - beers on Friday Overall everything depends on the team you end up with. You can have great work/life balance, no stress, no overtime and great colleagues, but you can also end up in a team with overtimes and pressure to deliver.
Cons
- as engineer you won't have much/any say in product - lack of communication within team and across teams - not very nice office, feels like modern factory (huge open space with lots of noise, poor kitchen, no space to relax or talk with colleagues, could be cleaner) - corporation that wants to be a startup and startup that wants to be a corporation (role is based on what suites them more at the time)
