Terrible management team that are incapable of dealing with years of overly aggressive growth and under investment in infrastructure. The employees were treated with utter contempt while trying to correct decisions that were made senior management with the sole objective to inflate short term profitability. Customers and clients (ironically defined as partners) are treated terribly. AXA XL operates with 5 culture commitments that are an oxymoron of the company itself. Overall, not the same XL Catlin company that I joined, I would recommend that you avoid or risk becoming a scape goat for a poorly performing organisation. Very rapid turnover in senior management.

401k match and work life balance.

Cons

Mandatory 3 day in the office, abysmal raises (2-3%), and overall crappy culture. They're trying to improve the culture with “culture champions”, but it is just lip service because the company refuses to provide any meaningful budget for food or branded gifts for their employees. Office is very quiet and not in a good way. There is NO upward mobility unless you’re already in upper management.
