Pros
I have been providing speech therapy services for many years and have worked in multiple environments with diverse populations. The number one reason I love Advanced is my recruiter, Jessie Loera. I have established a wonderful, positive and productive work relationship with him. He dependable, thoughtful and is always available to me. I have found Jessie to be honest, transparent and trustworthy. That has not been my experience with other recruiters. When Jessie tells me that his therapists are his number one priority, I believe him. He has proven this again and again.
My pay packages have been very fair and commensurate with my years of experience.
Cons
The healthcare benefits are somewhat lacking. A primary care physician is the only doc I have with Aetna in the area. If I need a specialist for any other reason I would have to travel quite far.
I am used to Blue Cross/Blue Shield, where all of my docs have always been in network.
No potential for accrual of PTO.
Limited availability of work assignments at times depending on where you wish to go.
