I have been working at Air Force Reserve full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Awesome people that you work with; great camaraderie! Flexible around you (unit transfer, IRR option, volunteer for active duty time mission permitting)! No glass ceiling!!! AF Reserve is #2 priority (#1 priority is your civilian life/career). Early retirement (up to age 50) for volunteering for temporary full-time duties for part-timers.

    Cons

Sometimes sacrificing a family/friend weekend get-together for drill weekend. Pay isn't great starting out (gotta start somewhere, what did u expect?).
