Horrific - Anonymous employee Arenas Employee Review

Not very structured all locations have differences

Learned a lot, met very valuable people and worked on interesting projects with big studios (when they had them as clients). Offices are nice and the kitchen is fully stocked with beverages for the staff.

This is the saddest and most toxic company I've ever worked for. It lacks structure, leadership and its level of disorganization is embarrassing. CEO and high executives use ancient management practices (if any) based on ego, belittlement, back-stabbing, and intimidation instead of encouragement and empowerment. You are constantly (and literally) remembered to "know your place" in the company and that your opinion doesn't really matter. You will also be caught in the crossfire between the partners and their power struggle, a childish contest where they try to prove who has more power. Salaries are 40% below market average with barely any benefits, but somehow management still thinks it's a privilege to work there because you're working in entertainment and "anyone would kill for that job". Well, think again. Thanks to these practices, during my time there I saw more than 18 persons coming and leaving as soon as they got to know how the working conditions really were and now the building looks deserted because everyone is gone.
