Pros
- Full Scholarship to pursue certification (ABAT) + paid supervision - paid training 4-6 weeks before full time position. Very ethical and training is done with B40 families, they get to access care for free - opportunity to travel overseas for conference, all paid for - annual staff trip - so many activities for staff. All paid eg: kayaking, painting, candle making, hiking, karaoke, intimate gatherings, staff appreciation day, womens day, teachers day, annual dinner - lots of makan makan - admin is amazing; really make an effort for the team and keep things fun after a hard days work - supervisors are caring, do their best to support everyones needs - pantry always got food - kids are adorable
Cons
- boss has high standards but also need to as the industry requires it - very hard to pass training - first few months is tough mentally, need to be resilient - this line of work is not for anyone, not for someone looking for an “easy” job
