Pros

Commissions are high as a sales representative (if you can sell any of their products off-contract). Their products are also reliable. Can be a good stepping stone to get you to a better company like Medtronic, Boston Scientific, or St. Jude Medical.

Cons

Biotronik is unable to compete in today's landscape of medical devices. Since the days of real Doctor Choice are long gone...Biotronik must compete on a regional/national contracting basis. Considering the formidable competition out there they are losing market share and that directly affects the abilities of their sales reps to make money. Add to that the fact that they have terrible sales management in most markets and the future just doesn't look good for them. If you really want to be in the Cardiac Rhythm Management business for a long term career then Bio is not the place for you.

Pros

Every day looks different and is never boring. Lots a support to get certifications

Cons

Schedule is unknown until night before. On call once a month, but still not bad compared to other companies (can be done remote typically).

Pros

A good way to get in the industry. You can climb the ranks relatively quickly compared to other companies. Good products.

Cons

Leadership doesn’t seem to care enough to actually solve problems, a lot of tension between the local team. Lack of resources, you get locked in a contract and it’s hard to get out. This company is a revolving door.
