Pros
The onboarding experience started even before day one. I had a pre-joining call with my manager after receiving my offer, which was really helpful for talking through expectations, challenges, and practical setup. I was also sent useful reading material in advance, which made starting much smoother. Colleagues have been genuinely lovely, welcoming, and collaborative, with a strong sense of belonging across the team. Flexibility is a real strength of the organisation. Many people are parents, and it’s genuinely encouraged and supported for people to take time for their families. Teams are understanding and accommodating when plans or schedules need to change.
Cons
Having joined during a period of leadership change, there has been some adjustment as new leaders settle in. That said, this has also been a positive as it has allowed me to grow alongside these changes and focus on building relationships with the current leadership team.
