    I've worked with Cactus as a freelance translator for over a year now. Some of the pros of working with Cactus -Feedback on your work from senior translators -Ability to preview any assignment before accepting or declining. -Communication with PM when issues arise is quick, friendly and useful. -Flexible work schedule

    Cons

    Work is pretty seasonal, sometimes you may be overwhelmed with the amount of assignments other times you may have nothing for ages.

    Work at home Adequate work volume

    Cons

    Poor communication Some ridiculous turn times Arbitrary QI No guidance as to process And the pay is obscene; be prepared to get terrible manuscript and supporting docs in need of a major overhaul but not paid for the total word count, only a percentage.
