Pros

The pay is decent, They have health benefits for full time employees. Easy place to excel.

Cons

There is a lot of animosity. Everyone is in their own clique and no one wants to help anyone out. Some of the upper management is so unorganized. The head manager there is a big term nerd with absolutely no social skills. The place is kind of rough around the edges. Other smaller managers only care about themselves.

Pros

Everyone was very professional about their work. Jobs weren't just done, they were done the right way. Managers were very fair and would step up and lend a helping hand whenever needed. The projects I worked on were used company wide, which gave me a great feeling of satisfaction.

Cons

Employees are required to travel semi-frequently. In my time with the company, I traveled to cities in: California, Texas, Kentucky, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.

Pros

The pay seemed to be about average or slightly above for the industry. Employees were generally competent though many times, with the combination of travel and long hours, avoidable mistakes were made.

Cons

I continually witnessed inattention to safety. Those charged with overseeing safety and job hazard analysis were not qualified or competent to serve. C.S.I. works primarily in the oil, petrochemical and, power generation industries. Much of the work that they do requires working in confined space.
