Pros

I have found 0 good things.

Cons

I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE TO NOT APPLY FOR THIS. I WAS SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED. 1. No opportunities for advancement. You cannot apply for any other jobs within Citi while being in the 2 year program. Also, if you quit, you are blacklisted from Citi. 2. I was lied to and was placed in a department in which I had no control over and my experience does not align with. They told me that we would have interviews with different departments so we could both choose the best fit, WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN. You also can't switch departments and are trapped there until your rotation is over (1 year). 3. There is no organization within the program at all. I never know who to talk to and no one answers me. 4. No laptops were provided. For a billion dollar company to not give employees proper equipment is ABSURD. 5. I have learned NO VALUABLE SKILLS. During my time here I have nothing to add to my resume and had to independently take this upon myself. Everything is only Citi centered which isn't transferable. 6. No one told me that this position was hybrid until I started working. 7. All the other people in the program are equally as unhappy. Trust me, I've talked to everyone. 8. You don't get to work with anyone else in the program. 10. Being in operations is the lowest on the totem pole. If you want to spend your whole life trying to work up from here, good luck.

Pros

I had a very positive experience at Citi and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work there. I worked with strong, collaborative teams within an enterprise risk management and compliance-driven organization, which helped me build a solid foundation in program execution, governance, and cross-functional coordination. I especially valued the learning culture and the chance to work with experienced professionals who were always willing to share knowledge and support.

Cons

My leadership was constantly changing.
