Pros

Lot of potential with the product. Field forces you to stay current on cloud tech. Will pay for as many certifications as you want.

Cons

Good portion of upper management believes they are smarter than they actually are. Everyone is self interested and doesn’t really care about cultivating a career path for you. Decent comp. Sales team started leveraging partners because inbound leads were lacking. Product is extremely hard to use if you’re not technical. AI-native features became the focus over fundamentals of SaaS. Performance is bad at a certain threshold. Laid off people quietly and randomly.

Pros

Lots of visibility. You’ll take part in meetings with the whole sales org and you’ll be recognized for any success you bring to the team. Good management. You’ll have access to any tool or resource you may need in your prospecting.

Cons

Account lists that are assigned are very hit or miss. Good luck if you get a bad list.
