Pros
The company has grown substantially over the last 15 years and with revenue of $70M, has become a strong consulting firm in the Boston area and a stable place to work. The benefits and work environment are comparable if not better than their peers.
Cons
Like any consulting firm, Collaborative hires associates at all levels from outside the firm. Some of these hires are relatively new to the workforce and may in fact be consulting for the first time. Others have decades of experience and bring a lot to the table. Unfortunately, there is a core of individuals with a long tenure at Collaborative (particularly on the technical side) who feel threatened by experienced outsiders and will sabotage their work in order to preserve their own career growth.
