Pros
Great pay, strong student voice, good student/family/staff culture.
Cons
Long hours. If you think you will have a life outside of school hours forget it. This place consumes you totally. They pay well but it is not worth your mental and physical health. Your well-being does not matter. There is favoritism with staff and some voices are more respected than others. Admin is extremely reactive. They listen to respond not to understand. If you aren’t giving up all your time they will guilt trip you that you don’t care about the kids or the mission. It has corporate vibes. Some students get away with too much and there is no accountability for them, it will all fall back on teachers. They also already know who they are going to promote, the applications in house are a technicality and just to give the illusion you have a chance.
