Pros

Great place to start your career and learn some invaluable skills. The clients are great to work with and are super friendly. The expectations are always clearly laid out and suggestions on how to improve if the expectations are not met. Management is always willing to listen and help with career growth even if it is not with them.

Cons

Reimbursements are once a month so it feels you are out of pocket for parking/tolls. Opportunities to work with new technologies is limited.

Pros

-- Work/Life balance: Staff at Computer Courage had a very consistent schedule, and there was never any expectation or pressure to work overtime or weekends, unless reasonably required for a specific project. -- Owner (Adam): In my role at Computer Courage, I worked closely with Adam, the owner. This was a highlight of my time there, as Adam was incredibly supportive, encouraging of professional growth, and collaborative in project work. Furthermore, I believe his general approach to growing the business and working with customers had a large impact on the stability and health of the company and its staff. -- Office perks: On a smaller note, it was great that the office supplied standing desks, and had snacks, drinks, etc. regularly available to staff.

Cons

-- Ultimately, the biggest issue I ran into at Computer Courage was that my preferred career path did not end up matching the position I held. After more than a year, I decided to leave to pursue a different job type that was not offered at Computer Courage. -- The office itself can be very quiet, and is not a very social environment day-to-day. A large part of this is due to the fact that the IT team is most often out in the field at appointments, and not in the office.
