The company fosters a collaborative atmosphere, where team members are always open to sharing ideas and supporting one another. Leadership is incredibly supportive, always offering guidance and encouragement to help you succeed. Pros

They did have good benefits packages. Health insurance starts on the date of employment.

Cons

Communication is terrible. They will tell you what you want to hear and make you feel valued but have absolutely no follow through. If you are in a department that isn't making them money, they don't care about you and will not give you things and staff that is required to execute your duties. As a result, you will work over time without proper compensation and when you ask for help they revert back to "well it's been working fine up to this point." They are big on nepotism and giving out leadership roles to their children without the necessary experience required for the job and then protect them above all other staff. At one point there was a snow storm and the local government was begging people to stay home and off the roads because there were so many accidents that emergency response units couldn't get to those who needed help. Staff was told that they were expected to be in the office and if they did not feel safe coming in, they would be required to use their own PTO.
