I worked at ConnectWise full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-$8 stipend for lunch redeemable at three different places. -Lots of free snacks, drinks, etc. -Corporate culture is laid back; the dress code is casual. -Lots of interesting work.

    Cons

Executive leadership regularly and adamantly expressed to colleagues (during the regular First Friday events) that ConnectWise wasn't interested in outside investment, and that the company would remain independent. However, as we all now know, that's not the case. All of the corporate values that CW was keen on living up to went out of the window when someone came along with a big enough purse to buy out the Bellini's. As one of those that were let go due to the "reduction in force" event, I'm ashamed at how the company handled the situation. There are right ways and wrong ways in which to let tenured employees go while leaving them with a bit of dignity, but CW chose to hire outside security and off duty police officers to ensure that folks wouldn't be too "disgruntled." The worst part of it was later that day when the press release went out that ConnectWise had been sold, all it could talk about was the 70 new millionaires that had been made by the buyout. What about the 100+ people that lost their jobs? What about the people that are STILL jobless? I'm sure CW can sleep a little better at night knowing that they paid out severance, stock payouts, etc. to make the "transition" easier for people involved, but that still doesn't change the fact that what was done is immoral and against the values CW touts. For anyone reading this that is thinking about working for CW, I would urge you just to walk away. Private Equity is destroying corporate America, and CW is its latest victim.

I have been working at ConnectWise full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

If you're looking for a company where you can disappear into a big department and not get noticed, this is not the company for you. I feel like I've learned more here in a short amount of time than any other place in my career. I can actually impact decisions and add value to this company.

    Cons

The people who have only worked here (or for the majority of their careers) have forgotten (or don't know) how bad it is everywhere else. The company can spend a lot of time catering to those who complain.

I have been working at ConnectWise full-time

    Pros

I work with some of the best, hard-working individuals who are always ready to lend a helping hand or game plan best practices with you. Everyone on the floor wants to succeed and provide insight into how they are able to achieve their goals.

    Cons

Each business unit is nearly 100% silo'd. The way the sales team learns about sudden new operational changes is by getting a sale flagged and having to go back on what they sold on to try and salvage a deal with worse terms.
